Junior high school students: Students who are 14-year-old or above with adequate financial support can apply to study in Grade 8, 9 or 10 in Canada without TOEFL scores. High school students: Students who have adequate financial support can apply to study in Grade 10, 11 or 12 in Canada without TOEFL scores. High school graduates: High school graduates who have adequate financial support can apply to study in Grade 12 or university preparatory courses in private colleges in Canada without TOEFL scores. After successful completion of Grade 12, the student can apply to study at a Canadian or American university. College or university students and college graduates: College or university students college graduates who have adequate financial support can apply to study for a degree, a certificate or a MBA program in Canadian private colleges without a TOEFL score. University graduates (Bachelor Degree): University graduates who have adequate financial support can apply to study in Master programs in Canadian private schools without GRE, GMAT or TOEFL scores. University students, university undergraduates or graduates with a minimum TOEFL score of 550: University students, university undergraduates or graduates who have adequate financial support can apply to study in Bachelor/Master programs in public universities in Canada, and MBA programs offered in cooperation between Canadian private schools and US universities!. Q. It is said that a TOEFL score is mandatory to study overseas. Is a TOEFL score really not necessary to study in Canada?Generally, a TOEFL score is required in most public universities in North America. Moreover, the minimum score for many universities is 600. It is quite difficult for most people who want to study overseas. Q. Can I still apply to study in Canada without a TOEFL score? Yes, now your dreams can come true even without a TOEFL score. We can help you apply for studying in Canadian private colleges which offer university preparatory courses and university transfer programs. Q. How can I improve my English if I do not have a TOEFL score? These private colleges offer ESL courses ranging from 6 to 8 months for students whose first language is not English. Even though MBA is becoming more and more popular in China, the Chinese MBA Degree is not recognized outside China. Some Canadian colleges represented by the Student Visa Section of COIBS offer a MBA program in cooperation with US universities in which TOEFL and GMAT are not required. The 1 or 2 year programs will be instructed by professors from US universities, students will finish their graduate thesis and attend a graduation ceremony in the US. The degree certificate from a US university will be the same. Q. What is the fee for an ESL course? The tuition fee is about US$15,000 and offers daytime, weekend or evening classes. Applicants should submit official post-secondary transcripts, resume, application form, photos, passport, bank deposit certificate, application fee (US$150) and tuition fee for the first academic year. Q.How much does it cost to study in Canada? Tuition fee is about C$7,000 to C$9,000 per year plus living expense (these vary). Generally, monthly living expenses including accommodation and food is about C$800; transportation: C$60; Health Insurance: C$36. Calculated on an annual basis this amounts to about C$20,000 per year. Q.What is the application process ?Applicants submit assessment forms to Canadian Overseas Immigration and Business Services Inc.(COIBS). Applicants will be assessed by COIBS (free). Applicants sign an agreement with COIBS and pay the deposit if they are qualified COIBS will select the most suitable schools and programs for applicants according to their qualification and financial situation. COIBS will help applicants prepare files such as notarized documents, graduate certificate, transcripts, study plan, financial support, bank deposit certificates as well as submit application forms and application fees to the schools. Applicants will pay the second service fee to COIBS when they have been granted admission from the school. The applicants will pay the last service fee to COIBS after they get the Medical exam forms from the Canadian Embassy. The Student Visa Department will help arrange for airport pick-up and accommodation if the applicants require this service. Q.How do I apply for a visa to study in Canada? The Student Visa Department will prepare professional visa application documents for the applicants and will submit them to the Canadian Embassy or Consulate. The Student Visa Department will assist with medical examination, interview or non-interview. Fly to Canada and begin to study. |
